remark-extract-frontmatter's Issues

Confused about usage/purpose

Im a little confused. I need to extract frontmatter from my yaml file which seems like a common thing to do but all the examples I see leave the frontmatter in the file. I must be using it wrong as I can't imagine anyone would want a bunch of junk at top of their file but even the example on the readme do not appear to remove the frontmatter from the content. Isn't that the idea behind extracting? to be able to use it somewhere else?

Hi!

remark is switching to a new parser (and compiler) internally (micromark, remarkjs/remark#536), which will break this plugin.

It seems the code now integrates with the parser, but could just as well be in a transformer btw?
