Hi! 👋😊 I'm Miguel Ângelo and I'm a student at University of Minho, where I'm getting a degree in Computer Science 👨‍💻.

Núcleo de Estudantes de Ciências da Computação @NECC is a group of students , volunteers, created in 2001 (formerly known as GEMCC) with the aim of helping and representing all undergraduate Computer Science students, from the first year to contact with the market of work. I decided to join [NECC] to help them and improve my self skills, like learning code, learning what type of code do you use in real life, trying to know what do you need to be a good Computer Science worker 🤖. I am also part of the team at CoderDojo at Braga as Mentor, an open, non-profit, free movement which aims to teach programming to children and teenagers from 7 to 17. CoderDojo-Projects by me for kids

I was privileged to participate in “The International Astronomical Search Collaboration” (IASC), a Science program that, in collaboration with NASA, Pan-STARRS, Observatory and Catalina Sky Survey Observatory, shares highly classified astronomical information for scientists around the world . Following the IASC I discovered new Main Belt asteroids and observed important objects close to Earth.

I'm a drummer in the band "GASPEA", a band selected as a resident band in the Escola do Rock program in Paredes de Coura, an initiative that invests in music production and creation, where we had the opportunity to produce and record our first single. In addition to what was my first band, I was a member of “The Scoundrels (Next door)” and part of "Divine Roguery".

Also during Secondary School, in collaboration with the Philosophy teacher, I founded a project “Em Busca de Sorrisos”, in order to bring happiness to our grandparents' generation, so that they don't feel alone, and demonstrate recognition for everything what they did and do for the youngest.
