Thank you for taking care of my request to be able to scrape posters and
fanart on individual scraping. If I may suggest, it would be much more
comfortable to popup a poster and fanart selection dialog directly first,
then just after that the edit window to modify other things.

Manually add, delete, and change the order of existing "extrathumbs" for
the selected movie

On almost all movies I get error message "unable to retrieve movie details
from internet..." when trying to rescrape with current ID. I get it
sporadically when searching for new id aswell.

When you select a movie with no scraped information, there should be some
indication on that to display.

For the best user experience, i think the best would be to display
something "big" in the fanart area.

As you are a native speaker, you can find out a more nice string, than my
"this movie not scraped yet". lol

I am not sure how difficult is to solve, or if you even consider this, but
would be great that similarly to xbmc emm would try to fetch imdb id from
"non-compliant" scene nfo files(the same which are going to be renamed to
.info) prior to search on imdb based on the folder name. 

I had this problem white the last ver. also.

When i "re-scaping" the program crash when it doing the "Scanning Media Info" 
I have been waiting 10min, but nothing. 

A quick solution for now is to have a option "Scan Media" yes o no.

When autopilot is run by ask option and it wants to ask something there is
no indication that for which movie it is requesting assistance. 

OK, you might realised the movie on the status bar, but that should be
indicated in the search box. 

For example it gives you suggestions to choose a movie, but you have no
clue for what :) lol

Concerning my evergreen requests of the middle details view.

There are no huge queues of people crying to up the plot, so may I suggest
some less extreme changes in the layout just to be a little bit more "eye
candy"?

So what do you think about something like this:
 - cast should be move to the right and the order of the fields would be
more nice(at least for me) as described below
 - some dummy frame should be displayed when there is no actor choosen
 - would be a little bit more extreme, and I am not sure it is doable. I
realized that two actor thumbs is fit in the height of the middle details.
What if selecting two actors at the same time and displaying the two thumbs
below each other?

Would it be possible to have an option to resize large fanarts (1920x1080)  
to 1280x720

It would be great if EMM could support YAMJ-style "sets", as described here.

Will not detect M4V but will scan the all my other files fine.

The poster which is displayed in the search box during single scrape is not
displayed/shrinked with correct aspect ratio, looks weird. Is it possible
to fix that? you might need to increase the size of the search window for that.

Also, a status feedback here would be nice. Actually in the way it is now,
you don't know if emm is still searching or there is no movie found.

when i click "<Movie>.fanart.jpg" it dont show the fanart ..
But if a Scrape one out and save it... its saved in the movie folder, but
still no picture in EMM...

It would handy if the application would auto sort your folders so videos
are in there own folder. This feature would be good for TV Shows and Music.

After uncheck the mark box, it checked back again on clicking "OK".

Would be great to download posters from

Would be fantastic to have trailers other than those from IMDB being 
supported. I could see AMT, but of course any other trailer site would be 
great. Youtube could also be an option, but I dont have a preference.

Would be great if there could be an option to have the trailers as a link 
and even better to actually have EMM download them.

I can't identify yet what is the trigger, but sometimes this happens, even
if it identified the right movie.

Need further investigation, but I wanted to let you know.

When you drag the scrollbar when choosing a poster the screen doesn't
scroll until you let go of the scrollbar. This is annoying for movies with
many posters since you can't just look through them, you have to keep
dragging it and letting it go small increments at a time. Having the screen
scroll while dragging would be much preferable.

It seems that extrathumbs dir is created even if it's not used and I didn't
choosed any extra thumb.

For some reason searching for "Veronica Guerin" does not gives results.
Veronica gives some results for Veronica

But with only "Guerin" it finds Veronica Guerin. Strange :)

It would be nice to have an option to automatically create thumbs during
autopilot, similar to the tool here:
http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50535...

If you manually select thumbs using the built in tool in Ember, it would
overwrite thumb1, thumb2 since these are the ones the skins (aeon) selects
first, then scrolls through the rest. It would just be nice to *have*
thumbs for every movie, then if you manually select ones you like it will
use them.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select a movie with information
2. Select a movie without any information
3. You will see in the status line in the bottom, that emm is still in the
dir of the previous movie
4. If you click on re-scrape movie it is re-sraping the movie which was
previously selected

This is with r85 (google r87)

emm is scraping posters on single re-scrape, even if there is an already
existing poster and overwrite is not checked in settings.

I don't know if clackerdacker is working on this part but I wanted to make 
sure it got added to the list.  This is the format I use and to be able to 
use your excelent program at all, it would have to be added.  I know there 
are others.

So...
Please add the ability to use direct rips in the 
MOVIE/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.IFO structure.  Here are some examples.  The 
difference between the first two and the last one is that Babylon 5 is a 
complete rip and the first two are main movie only.  I don't think that 
makes any difference but I wanted to be complete.

The fanart.jpg, folder.jpg, movie.tbn, and movie.nfo, go both in the movie 
root folder and the VIDEO_TS folder.  
The <moviename>.nfo, <moviename>.tbn and <moviename>-fanart.jpg go in the 
movie root folder.
The VIDEO_TS.nfo, VIDEO_TS.tbn and VIDEO_TS-fanart.jpg go in the VIDEO_TS 
folder.
That way they can be used by various video streaming devices and XBMC.

Maybe you could save something like "no info was found during scraping for
this movie, you have to edit it manually" for those movies.  

Autopilot-clean folders cleaned everything fine, but one of my movie, which
was not touched. 

The folder looks like this:
bd-wed.nfo
bd-wed.tbn
bd-wed.CD01.avi
bd-wed.CD02.avi

One of my movie, which was recognized properly as IMDB tt0407867.
There is no poster for this, in none of the poster sources, but update-ask
gives me the result I attached to the ticket.

Strangely all are for different movies :) lol

The fonts changed to some greenish fonts in version r1

It would be nice to be able to update XBMC library via xbmc API

I want EMM to check the folder for "movieName.jpg" also, not only
"movieName.tnb"

I was thinking about that. I am curious about your opinion.

I think autopilot should be called simply:
 - "update"

Then the options unders this:
 - All Movies - Force best match
              - Ask if no exact match
              - Media tags only
 - Movies with missing info - Force best match
                            - Ask if no exact match
 - Clean folders

During all movies update there should be a popup warning like:
- All Movies - Force best match
"This will overwrite all info for your entire movie collection without
asking with the best possible match, unless you locked specific fields in
settings. Are you sure you want to do this?"

- All Movies - Ask if no exact match
"This will overwrite all info for your entire movie collection unless you
locked specific fields in settings, but it will ask to choose a movie if
there is no perfect match found. Are you sure you want to do this?"

During Clean folders:
If there is no items checked in settings there could be a popup warning
here as well to let user know what to do, like:
"You have to check which items to clean in settings first"

This picture is not moving together with the window during resizing.

Just try maximize, then "restore down". The picture will overlap the movie
list. 

I always change some fields of the scraped movies. Keeping track of new
movies helps on what needs to be still modified, but if I close ember
without modifying new movies I am getting trouble to find the unmodified
ones to modify.

So as an enhancement of this, it would be very nice to have a flag on the
movies which are already have been modified (either a manual checkbox) and
a filter to filter the onex which are unmodified.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1) Open EMM with no settings file. Status bar says "unable to load files".
2) Add a single Folders movie source.
3) Close EMM, re-open.
4) Status bar is black.

I'm sure this is due to doublebuffering of main form, but I cannot
reproduce to be sure. Disabled doublebuffering for next release to test.

When EMM opens, it:

1) Displays the splash screen on TOP of all other windows, then
2) Opens the main window BELOW other windows.

In my taskbar it shows EMM blinking until I click on it.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Save configuration (click save button)

- I know Linux/Mono isn't officially supported. It will be fairly simple to
fix this problem so it will run on Linux (the app starts up nicely!). It
ptobably has to do with writing to the XML configuration file.

I am not sure in what intelligence you built into the autosearch, but

Anyways, all these movies have the SAME strange results for posters during
update-ask as the one I attached in a screenshot in the other ticket, but I
attach here as well.

Huhhh, I think and hope this is my last feature request. 
You must be bored with all of my crappy things... lol

I always wanted to put selected movies to a given custom genre. 
Actually (as HD media flagging is still not got mature in xbmc) I would
like to create genres for media types to be able to filter them in xbmc
library. Like HD movies, DVD movies, DVDRips, etc.

I organized my folder structure in a way, that there are different root
folders for different file types. So if we could have some Genre manager,
similar to the one, somebody mocked up for Boxsets would be awesome. The
only difference is that the file(folder) path should be displayed in the
movie selection tab to be able to identify in which folder the movie is to
be able to select the proper genre for them.

Just tell me, if I am to much and only want things which are only useful
for me personally :) lol

1.use sources that are on a network drive
2.scrape and use 
3.disconnect network drive and reopen ember, now the settings are lost

Iam at this moment changing the plot of every movie to Swedish.

Is there away to "lock" the plot, so it will stay the same, even if i
"Re-Scape" it?

All my movies with resolution 1280 x 522 are flaged as 576p instead of 720p.

I think that the resolution should be set in relation with the first number :

1920 x ???? -> 1080p
1280 x ??? -> 720p
852 x ???? -> 576p

posters, fanart, and ID and title) based on existing IMDB ID?
b) Can we have a button only updating "missing posters"?
c) Can we have a button only updating "missing artwork"?
d) Can we have a function identifying duplicate movies?
