Although the function make_qr() is documented in https://mrjoh3.github.io/ggtrack/reference/make_qr.html, and defined in

currently ggtrack always displays a plot even when assigned to a variable. This is a side effect of grid arrange. Need ability to control this behaviour

The stegosaur package makes it possible to embed content directly into a saved png. Ideally the content of the QR code could be emmedded directly as well.

in a knitr chunk that outputs a ggplot the chunk header could include track=tracker.object

tracker.object would point to a tracker defined earlier in the page

Need to ensure QR code is always readable, current size is fixed to 1.8 cm in height

The code for make_qr(), does not check if the current dir is tracked by git.

current layout is cation | logo | QR.

options are to allow user to define or to have several predefined or preset options such as

logo | QR | caption
logo | caption | QR

any option will also need ability to resize logo and caption boxes based on the size of the logo.

theme added to a ggplot is automatically added to the banner

a hidden tracker maintains metadata while at the same time ensures if a plot is copied and pasted into a new document, the banner is included
