Use raw pointers instead of asm for writing bytes

Looks like it's just writing a byte to memory, but I don't know asm very well.
Just wondering :)
Constantly rebooting when running on qemu
It is constantly rebooting after this point when i tried to run the built image on qemu.
When running with -no-reboot qemu just quickly closes:
