Hi there Mrbysco :slight_smile: i came here becouse of your mod "TelePastries" :slight_smile: i am Packdev and i miss something very important... i have a suggestion . Register a Customcake (Contenttweaker) to a Custom Dimension via JSON File. And define a Item to feed the Cake. Adding the possibility to set up x,y and z coordinates and all is fine then. Everyone can setup his Customdimension, and even Dimension that arent Supported atm, ... (Aroma Mining World) and so on. So basically it would take away much work adding more Modsupport.

[Bug]: Client crash when attempt to use End Cake

Issue Description

On a local multiplayer server; Not tested in SP.
Client crashes when attempting to use the End Cake. Player does not get teleported, instead crashes.

Pretty sure it's a crossmod interaction issue with The Aether.
It might not be because of this mod, reporting either way to make sure.

Issue Description

Hey,
So I opened a server on Apex Hosting and running the SkyFactory4 modpack.

The first issue I dont think its you but lets try, the Nether generate as a void. Nothing else than Obsidian platform.

The second is the cake, the player eat the cake and its TP him to the nether (or end etc.), and after he eat the Overworld cake - its spawn him back to the overworld, but in some specific place that is a void.

Also, all players spawn back into there. Instead of TP them back to the cakes zone.

In singleplayer it worked.

Reproduce Steps

I am not sure what is that mean, but I can tell that I have SkyClaims plugin installed.

Stuck on Roof of Nether

Issue Description

Using another mod item (that teleports you) one of my players (I am a server admin) teleported above the nether roof (acident? I don't know). They used the overworld cake they had to get back home but each time they return to the nether they are back above the nether.

Reproduce Steps

  1. Be above nether bedrock.
  2. Use overworld cake to get to overworld.
  3. Use Nether cake to get to nether.
  4. Stuck. Can't reset spawn of nether cake without death or eliminating cake and being stuck there.

Additional Information

I realize this isn't so much a bug as it is a silly thing that can happen but in hardcore packs this can be an issue. Being able to "unconnect" the nether cake from the overworld cake point could be beneficial. Please close the issue if you think it's just not worth it. Thanks!

Nether Cake: Spawning in Lava SkyFactory4

##Spawning in Lava in SkyFactory4

So I crafted and placed down the Nether Cake, hit Right-Click, and got teleported to Nether.
Only problem is, I was completely surrounded by Lava.

I could figure out, what the problem might be. My platform (also the cake) is below Y=20, and the lava in the Nether is at Y=20. Is there a way to set the Nether further down?

I actually wanted to have my platform on a specific low Level, because of the Hostile Mobs are spawning more frequently... (Mob Farm).

2. Place a bed and set spawn point for the overworld ( Without setting spawn point, you will spawn on a Default height Y=65 I think).

[Bug]: In multiplayer, if you take damage immediately after teleporting by eating cake, you will die

Issue Description

Environment: Mohist server, only this mod is installed. (No problem in single player)

After teleporting, if you take any damage within a few seconds, you will die instantly.

  1. Give Regeneration 5 and Wither 1 effects.
    So you're going to get hurt all the time, but it's definitely not going to kill you.
  2. Eat a tele pastrie.
  3. You died.

In the example above, this bug is not triggered if teleporting is done via nether portal or command.

Ghost Cakes Upon Return to Overworld

General Info

Issue Description

Upon returning to the overworld from another dimension (so far confirmed with the nether and lost cities cakes) an overworld cake will appear at the Y level below the original cake, in the nearby vicinity. The exact position of the phantom cake appears to be affected by the position of the original cake - the lost cities cake I have will always spawn its ghost cake 3 blocks to the west, and the nether cake 3 to the south and 2 to the east.

Reproduce Steps

  1. Visit another dimension using a TelePastries cake (so far nether and lost cities)
  2. Return to the overworld
  3. Return to the vicinity of the original departing cake

Additional Information

  • The ghost cake is not useable and disappears when right clicked.
  • In some instances the original block returns after the cake disappears, and in others a phantom gap appears. Placing a block in the phantom gap does not fix the issue and the gap remains.
  • The ghost cake is always an overworld cake.
  • Walking onto the ghost cake causes a similar glitch to the chunk loading glitch where the client thinks the player is falling, and the server keeps returning them to the top of the block.
  • If two players are in the game and one does not use the cake and therefore does not experience this issue, they can break the block that the phantom cake occupies and replace it and this resolves the issue until next time.

EDIT: I can confirm this issue also presents itself in single player

SUGGESTION INFORMATION

I'm not sure if it would even be possible for you, but it seems the Twilight dev found a way to make sure you don't spawn in biomes you aren't allowed in yet, but your cake doesn't seem to check for that. I play hardcore and the last couple worlds I've played I've lost because your cake took me to one of the end game biomes that cause damage when you aren't supposed to be there.
