The user needs to see what they will be controlling.

📐 Plan

Put a top-down image of a car on the page.

✅ Task List

  • Design a basic layout with CSS for the car.
  • Design a basic layout for the road.
  • If car is visible, proceed to next step.
  • Remove all CSS styling that had no affect or was otherwise unnecessary.
  • Test all functionality again in a private browsing session.
  • Fix all errors.

User can turn their car.

The user needs to be able to control which way their car is facing.

📐 Plan

Rotate the image with CSS classes when the user presses an arrow key.

  • Utilize JS DOM manipulation to adjust CSS properties of the car img, allowing the user to turn their car.
  • Remove all CSS styling that had no affect or was otherwise unnecessary.
  • Test all functionality again in a private browsing session.
  • Fix all errors.
