Good question. That link expects that you click on it so some javascript can kick in. I think using links for something that a button does better is a bad idea. What I mean is, a button or something should do this. Not a hyperlink.

The button idea sounds good.

Regarding the some javascript can kick in, what is the expected UI behavior after clicking on the url link (which should really supposed to be a button)? My guess is that a pop-up would appear with an embeddable html element?
