Heyhey,
thank you very much for creating this.
My use-case is that I have another extension for FF, which I use to search for selected words on a page in different search engines.
This other extension forces me to keep a bookmark folder of the search engines, so I cannot place the bookmarks as the first items on the bookmark bar.
It'd be cool to be able to select a word on a page and then press alt +1 and alt +2 to search for it in duckduckgo and google for example.

Would it be possible to change the modifier key and map it to any other key?

I'm under linux and change the font size of my web pages on regular basis. I'm French and my keyboard as the 6 and - dash on the same key. So when I want to decrease text size (which is CTRL + -), I'm going to my 6th bookmark.

I'd like to map CTRL to Windows (SUPER) key with your extension.

Normal firefox behavior:

1. Create tab
2. Pin it
3. Open bookmarks (CTRL+B) and left click on some bookmark
4. Bookmark is opened in new tab (but if current tab wasnt pinned, current tab would just navigate to bookmark url without new tab)

Bookmark-Shortcuts current behavior:

1. Create tab, pin it
2. Alt+1 -> current pinned tab is replaced by first bookmark

Expected behavior:
New tab should be opened

Thanks for creating Bookmark Shortcuts. I would like to use it to open an url in the same tab.

The current add-on description mentioned:

This addon adds shortcuts to open bookmarks from the Bookmarks Toolbar:
- Alt + 1..9,0 to open first 10 bookmarks in the same tab
- Alt + Shift + 1..9,0 to open first 10 bookmarks in a new tab

However, clicking Alt+ 1 opens the first bookmark in a new tab.

Could you please assist?

I am using Firefox 60.2.0esr (64-bit) on a Windows machine. thank you!
