Whisper connection problem about bazarr HOT 4 CLOSED

It’s not an error. Your log doesn’t show anything bad. It’s saying it’s connected but can’t discern its version. Whisper-asr doesn’t return a /status webhook like Subgen does, so you see the 404. The status check was added recently to help debug and provide support.

If it actually isn’t working: I would check to see if you’re getting a CPU/GPU ramp up. Is the provider disabled? Are you not getting subtitles from it?

You need to provide a log that shows at least a manual search for a subtitle to see if your whisper provider is enabled.

Also you should be asking these questions in the Discord channel.
These issues are only for verified software bugs and not potential configuration issues.

I hadn't noticed that 404 wasn't referring to running. It actually works, I just need to adjust the timeout, because being run by the cpu it's all very slow
