Make the code way smaller, it currently has lots of code repetition that could be packed down.

The character currently moves left and right but needs to move up and down

Implement the money counter for the game HUD

Sprite should change to reflect direction character is moving in.

Create basic animation system for sprites

Potentially create a tool that allows the creation of sprites and animations as well as setting palettes.
There also could be a tool out there for this, but I have not been able to find one specific to the NES + we could make optimizations specific to our game.

Simple snake enemy

Damages player upon contact and dies in 1 hit.

Program that allows you to paint tiles and make a map and then save in a format for the tool & the NES
Potentially also allows you to set collision tiles + set up doors

Implement backgrounds

Like in the original Zelda allowing you to go potentially any direction
