Unable to pull log4go from code.google.com/p/log4go since code.google has been shutdown.

Will likely need a new source to update dependencies/imports with.

When trying to replay the oplog on a fairly large database, seed times out before reaching the end of the collection (due to no indexes). Enabling the http://godoc.org/labix.org/v2/mgo#Query.LogReplay feature seems to fix this.

We're getting an error saying:

failed insert on collection my_collection: EOF

Which is here in the code

This seems to happen only on collections that contain large (>1MB) binary objects inside their documents.

Any thoughts? Potential buffer size issue?

I'm having this error after few minutes running it:

[12/19/14 00:22:39] [EROR] insert error (read tcp 127.0.0.1:27017: i/o timeout)
[12/19/14 00:22:39] [CRIT] Failed: failed insert on collection archived: read tcp 127.0.0.1:27017: i/o timeout

And so the script stops.

Any idea?

Per a conversation with Kurt at MongoHQ:

Seed needs to be brought up to date to work with 2.6.x (and potentially even our oplog users) before it will work out of the box against your DB.

This is because MongoHQ doesn't provide users access to "admin", and seed requires access to admin.

At present, seed works to push data INTO MongoHQ, but I think in being good stewards of data portability this library should be capable of pulling data FROM MongoHQ.
