Teleport Bug

Whenever I teleport out of the void world I'm put on the bedrock layer? I tried setting my spawnpoint, sleeping, messing with respawn anchors and lodestones, but I still always end up at the bottom of the world and have to dig up. I'm on 1.16.4 and using fabric. Also, completely forgot to mention I can't configure the mod? it's not configurable in the fabric mod menu.

mod not loading in FTB modpack

i downloaded the mod on FTB skyfactory 3 modpack, but it doesn't seems to exist the mod when i play the game, it looks like i did not install it

[Fabric] Crash on load java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/fabricmc/fabric/api/client/itemgroup/FabricItemGroupBuilder

This is my first attempt to load Fabric client, so I am not sure what is going on. I followed instruction on loading Fabric client in MultiMC (http://fabric.asie.pl/use/), started instance, all good. Then I added SimpleVoidWorld-2.0.1 to the mods folder and tried again. Got crash

I was using Fabric 18w50a.83-0.3.1.83, fabric-loader:0.3.1.83, I have MultiMC 5, version 0.6.3-1285. During installation I copied MultiMc instance url to clipboard and then pasted it in MultiMC when adding new instance, just as instructions suggested - http://fabric.asie.pl/wiki/install.

Astral sorcery Compat

I was asking around in the AS discord, because while AS does recognise there's some starlight in the dimension,
it's extremely weak, and several multiblocks dont work at all because they're not getting enough power
and they asked if the dimension has a flowing time handler

Teleport block

I was wondering if you could make the teleport block teleport players back to the block they placed instead of defaulting to the overworld.

The reason I am asking is because There is no overworld in the pack I am making and I would love to use your mod but when I place a portal down and go to the simplevoidworld and come back it takes me to the overworld instead of the portal block I placed in the other dimension.

Add a void portal on a stick

It would be useful for players that do not want to place their void portal to have a portable variant. It doesn't have to be craftable.

[Feature request] - More config options

Hello; I would like to request the addition of the following config options (1.12 version):

  • Disable clouds in the void dimension
  • Disable the fog in the void dimension
  • Disable the sun and moon in the void dimension, while still keeping the dimension lit if the eternal day option is enabled, otherwise make it eternal night

No need in RebornCore

Why did you use RebornCore only for registering an one block and it's crafting recipe when you can just use GameRegistry? I don't want to add RebornCore in my mods folder only because of one portal block, and i had to remove RebornCore dependency from SimpleVoidWorld code by myself. By my opinion that's really absurd, small and simple mod shouldn't have any big and complicated dependencies.

1.16.4 forge

On the website this mod is labeled as forge. nowhere does it say fabric. But when I load it up in forge it says I need fabric. whats up with that?

need to label 1.14.4 fabric / forge for correctly label

for 1.14.4 you have not flagged this as fabric and this causes many issues with us who are making 1.14.x modpack and causes though of us using forge to download this thinking this is for forge instead of fabric please use the fabric tag to correctly label this on curse forge so though of us who does not use fabric does not waste our time downloading this

A suggestion for teleport function

It would be nice if spawn coordinates in void dimension would always be the same(or configurable), independent from Teleport Block coordinates in Overworld, thus resulting in possible clay harvest abuse removal possibility, also you wouldn't need to worry, if you decided to move a block in overworld to other position.

Void world lag

This is a problem i have with the void world when i enter from the mining dimension. (from aromas mining dimension mod). When i enter, the tick time (/forge tps) is very high, and stays that way. When i enter back into the mining dimension, everything is fine again. Also, when i enter back into the void world portal to get back to the mining world, it instead brings me to my overworld base.
I'm wondering if this is just my case.

Chunkloading/lighting/something doesn't work

Mod version- Simple-Void-World-1.10.2-1.1.0.4-universal
Forge version 12.18.3.2281

The first buggy bit I encountered was when I tried to put a network receiver from RS in your dimension, and it simply didn't work. I thought, "Oh okay whatever probably a refined storage thing".
But then I started setting up a farm with mystical agriculture and EnderIO, and it was very clear that the place either wasn't chunkloaded, or didn't think it was daytime while I was gone and woulden't grow crops. I had an imaginary time block placed so a steady flow of crops were feeding into the enderchest, yet it would get none while I was in a different dimension.
Moving the setup to the end made it work perfectly. And yes, every step of this was all chunkloaded with chicken chunks.
Sorry I can't give any more specific details, but I do know the refined storage wiki said the receiver must be chunkloaded as well to work reliably, so that makes me think it never worked cause it wasn't chunkloaded properly.

Remove portal block?

I moved my portal several times, so I created a few platforms in the void. Now try to remove the floating platforms in the void, but I can't break the Portal block .... Is there a way to remove those floating portal blocks?

Cannot claim chunks in Void world with FTB Utils

Created a void portal and passed through. Attempted to claim the chunks by clicking the FTB Utils maps, but nothing works. Claiming chunks works fine in other dimensions (overworld, nether, Aroma Mining World, Deep Dark).

Can't Keep World Loaded

I don't know if this is some sort of fluke or if I need to do something else, but I cannot get the world/chunks to stay loaded using ChickenChunks on a server. The chunk loaders themselves seem to be working because everything in the Overworld is still working, but once I leave the void world I see "unloaded dimension 43" in the server console.

Questions about modpack permissions and multiplayer functionality...

Hello,
I found SimpleVoidWorld on CurseForge but I have a couple of questions and didn't see any other way to ask them. I hope it is ok with you if I ask them here.

I'm looking to build a private multiplayer server and I would like to include SimpleVoidWorld mostly because I like Skyblock and my friends don't but I don't want to have to leave the server if I want to build in the sky for a while. I'd like to make it easy for my friends to get all the mods so I'm working to build a private modpack to be hosted on CurseForge with possible easy distribution and installation through the FTB launcher.

Most of the mods I'm including give open permission to be included in modpacks as long as the modpack curator gives proper accreditation and isn't going to try to sell the modpack for financial gain. I didn't see any modpack permissions on the SimpleVoidWorld page.
Would you be willing to grant such permission under the common terms? I agree to give proper accreditation by listing all mods in my modpack by name, linking to their pages on CurseForge or another home site of the mod author's choice, and that distribution of the modpack will be free.

The second question I have is about multiplayer functionality: How does this mod work in a multiplayer environment? What happens if multiple players craft and use the block that transports them to the void world? My primary concern here is anti-griefing, if I include this mod on my server I don't want people showing up uninvited to my island in the void.

Configs

The configs for eternal day and Black sky+fog dont seem to be working on my server. I've tried combinations of the configs turned on and off but none seem to work.
The modpack I'm hosting is FTB Revelation and the mod version is 1.2.0.9..
Am I just doing it wrong somehow or is there some conflicts that can occur that stops it from doing the things it should?

  1. Can it be set to be the default world for the overworld?
  2. Can I change the makeup of the starting island in the void?
  3. If on a server, does each player get their own spot in this void or their own void dim?
    a. if own spot in the same dimension, can I change the padding between spots
  4. Can disable the other dimensions?

[1.12] Cancel all right-click actions when using the portal

Hi @modmuss50,

I have a small request/bug for you regarding simple void would for Minecraft 1.12.

Important Information

Issue Details

When right clicking on the portal with any sort of item/block that has a right-click action, the game will attempt to perform this action while also activating the right-click action of the portal which ultimately teleports you to and from the void world.

all the images on the curseforge page show up as broken

Bug when using Map Writer

So, when using this mod with Map Writer 2, the map gets confuse and doesn't know what dimension to render.

I report it here, because I haven't seen Map Writer 2 do this with any other dimension from any mod.

I assume it doesn't know that the player was moved to Dim 43 as when you open the Map with M it still says Dim 0

Error : Failed to find void world, was it registered?

After placing down the Portal to the Void block and clicking on it the error message "Failed to find void world, was it registered?" in the chat without crashing or even creating an error log. This is generated when I used fabric-loader-0.10.1+build.209-1.16.2 and fabric-api-0.21.0+build.407-1.16

NightVision issue

Hello,

when using Night Vision in the SimpleVoid world, everything is dark AF, i need to switch NightVision eveythime.

any workaround ? is this a normal "game aspect" or so ?

i use the Draconic evolution's armor Nightvision here, but a /effect nightvision gives same result.

Can't Find Mod Options

Oddly enough, I can't find the options for this mod. I don't think there's any conflicting mods, though I do use OptiFine -- which changes the visual settings screen.

compatability with PerfectSpawn

when combined with perfect spawn mod, i correctly set up the ps mod to have initial spawn location and respawning set to simple void world, but due to the way the platform spawns upon using the block from overworld, i immediately fall to death. is there a way we can get a config option to have a spawn platform at an x,y,z coordinate?

Feature Request

Could you add a way to teleport players to the same dimension the void world block is located. For example If you place the void world block in The Aether dimension it takes you back to the same dimension when teleported back.

Playing on a modpack where the Overworld is locked out and it (portal void block) keeps teleporting players back to the Overworld when they coming back.

I wanted to check to see if there are any plans to allow SimpleVoidWorld to work with Forge 1.14.4? Thanks

Spawning is broken

This is two parts.

1- When I enter the void world I am not being put on my platform properly, and am being placed 8-10 blocks or so away from it, causing me to fall into the void. No, nothing is shooting me off, no mobs are present. It's likely an interaction between this and some other mod, as it doesn't happen with just this mod installed. I'll do further investigation later if needed.
Maybe it would be possible to implement a check to make sure there's a tangible block below the player before putting them there.

2-The default for the respawning should be to spawn back in the overworld, as it's very likely that the spawn location is not going to have anything there to catch the player (thusly if a player dies in the void world they have to start over unless they enabled cheats!)
