First of all, thank you for sharing this project with the community.

I wanted to pull the latest version via Docker Hub, however it appears your user and project are no longer available on Docker Hub:
https://hub.docker.com/r/mmozeiko/mingw-w64/tags

Will it return, or is this permanent? If so - the README still refers to the Docker Hub image, so perhaps that should be changed.

Hi any advise how to add boost to the image? Thx :)

I am looking to automate some stuff when compiling some of my software. To build I use git describe to generate a header file containing version information. But there is no git in the image. Could you add that?

From within my git-bash env I run:

winpty docker run --rm -ti -v `pwd`:/mnt mmozeiko/mingw-w64 sh

Then I have a prompt, but it looks like I'm in linux...
I tried to compile a small program with gcc hello.c, I got a file a.out as output, I was expecting a.exe....
Did I misunderstand what mingw-w64 is? Or do I need a different command?
