A chart only compares spending against the whole total, which will always dwarf it. The income brackets add no real information, and only the largest is visible.

Instead a combo carousel chart should be used, comparing the spending to each category of current spending.

It should be as simple as:

Then the actual personal numbers should be done by just having a slider to select income bracket and have the number printed plainly underneath.
