In zshrc, add a check for an additional, machine-local settings file and source the file if present. That will allow for a common core configuration with extensions that apply only to an individual system.

Use the new zstyle options outlined at https://github.com/ohmyzsh/ohmyzsh#skip-aliases to prevent plugins from creating unwanted aliases.

Once this is done, the local override versions of the plugins can be removed.

Create an install script to link files to their appropriate locations

Currently the zshrc assumes that it is running on a macOS system such as the presence of brew and g-prefixed GNU commands. To properly support Linux, the current OS should be checked and aliases or settings adjusted as needed.

The check for the current k8s context check throws an error on every prompt display if kubectl is installed but there is no current context.
