The explore page doesn't load any fossils

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to /explore
2. No fossils will load

Expected behavior
All fossils should load

Additional context
a console error says it's auto cancellation

The input from the Sort-Filter redirects to old URL.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'https://theworldoffossils.de/explore/'
2. Select a Filter option
3. URL is not correct

Expected behavior
The Sort option should redirect to https://theworldoffossils.de/explore/1/ _sort-method_ not https://theworldoffossils.de/explore/1/id?sortby=id

Routes:

• GET / -> 200 OK
• GET /fossils/lastest ->or /fossils/popular(??) -> list of fossils
• GET /fossils/:id -> fossil details
• POST /fossils/new -> new fossil
• GET /users/:id -> user details
• POST /users/new -> new user
• PATCH/POST /users/:id -> change user details
