Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (v14 or higher)
  • npm or yarn (package manager)
  • Expo CLI (for running the app)
  • json-server (for running the server)

Installation

Install the project dependencies using npm or yarn: npm install or yarn install

Running the Server

  1. In a separate terminal window, navigate to the server directory: cd server

  2. Start the JSON server: node server.js

Running the App

  1. Change SERVER_URL in the file LoginScreen to your current IPv4 Address (cmd -> ipconfig)

  2. In the root directory of the project, start the Expo development server: npm start or yarn start

  3. Use the Expo Go app on your iOS or Android device, or an emulator, to scan the QR code from the Expo development server page.

Install Expo Go from the App Store or Google Play Store. Open the Expo Go app and scan the QR code to launch the app on your device/emulator.
