The Ros-Orchestration project provides a set of sample micro-services that can take in sample jobs and execute them on ROS enabled robots. The repo includes the micro-services written in .NET core, as well as the robot controller written in python for ROS (rospy). This repository has a dependency on the ROS-Simulation repo, so that the end to end simulation can be run in Kubernetes with orchestration being driven from the cloud.
I am currently the upstream maintainer for https://github.com/microsoft/ros_azure_iothub. I notice in this Microsoft OSS project, a version of this repository is referenced which has been forked from the upstream version. I do not believe that the referenced version is being maintained actively by a support group at Microsoft, and is presently many commits behind the upstream copy. If there are contributions that can be pulled into the upstream copy from the currently referenced version (https://github.com/xinyiou/ros_azure_iothub) that would help to alleviate bugs/concerns, please let me know so we can work together on ensuring we have a consistent partner story!
There are important files that Microsoft projects should all have that are not present in this repository. A pull request has been opened to add the missing file(s). When the pr is merged this issue will be closed automatically.
