I spun up a fresh Azure Databricks cluster and imported the notebook. Did you run into any issues with joblib in Cmd 2?

When I ran that cell, I copied the output to Notepad since the command output doesn't get searched in my browser's search. In regards to joblib in Cmd 2, this is what I found:

Requirement already satisfied: joblib in /databricks/python3/lib/python3.8/site-packages (0.17.0)

@Eddevinc Could you please check your Cmd 2 output to see what was stated in trying to install joblib?

Also, make sure that Cmd 2 is done running before running Cmd 4.

Hi, @sumitmalik51. What version of the Databricks Runtime are you running?

Looking at the documentation on Notebook-scoped Python libraries, it looks like %pip is supported on Databricks Runtime 7.1 and above and on Databricks Runtime 6.4ML and above.

In the Before the hands-on lab setup guide, Task 4, we recommend Runtime: 7.4 (Scala 2.12, Spark 3.0.1).

Hi @sadukie , The issue was with the runtime version only, 7.3 is working fine and the commands work perfectly. we'll close the issue
