I see our release-winget action is failing, and during the winget tool's activity:

Unable to create a reference to the forked repository. This can be caused when the forked repository is behind by too many commits. Sync your fork and try again.

Strangely, it is picking an odd branch to use, perhaps due to some issues with the target winget-pkgs repo:
