cmykprojectmanager's Issues

(Feature) Basic File Editing

I would love a basic right click menu that acts like the nautilus right click... rename files... cut/paste (to move folders/files)...delete directories...create ... all that stuff I think should be part of this I think is pretty much required of a project manager

(Feature) naming projects

would be nice if I could easily rename the project (basically the root directory) without renaming the directory. sometimes I have a root directory called svn/repo/git and that can get confusing

btw, great work and thanks a lot for this =D it's pretty much perfect and as simple as I needed it to be

folders' list in PM view is unordered

When editing Rails app, I prefer the "app" folder being the first, now it is "script", and the "app" is in the middle. By what attributes are the folders and files ordered?

can't create projects

maybe I'm doing it wrong but I see the project manager pane and I drag directories to it but nothing happens or gedit tries to open the directory (errors out)... am I missing something?

delete folder crashes project manager

I tried deleting one of many projects that I had listed. I immediately got a pink background in the project manager and all of my other projects disappeared. Now I can no longer drag and drop projects into the pane. I've tried restarting gedit, removing the plugin, restarting gedit and then readding it, and also deleting all of the *.pyc files and readding the plugin. Still no luck.

Can't activate plugin with python 2.5.1

When trying to activate plugin, gedit says:

File "/usr/home/cijohnson/.gnome2/gedit/plugins/CMYKProjectManager/simple_tree_parser.py", line 23
class TreeParser():
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

I guess older python doesn't like the empty parantheses? I changed the line to:

class TreeParser:

...and now it works fine.

% python --version
Python 2.5.1

contents do not update

if I create a file inside of a project, the panel does not update to show me the file in the tree view (I am creating the file with my OS file browser because the project manager doesn't allow me to create files)

Files Icon/ Pixbuf

Does Somebody has a problem with the icons in the treeview? i have checked on some computers and they are present or not depending on the system... i'm still investigating.

(Feature) ignore patterns

netbeans has an awesome config where you can set a regex for filenames to hide from the browser... this is way nicer than the normal 'show hidden files' option... for example you can hide all .svn files but show the .htaccess or .gitignore files even though they are 'hidden'

I think this would be a great config option for this plugin

plugin not removed when disabled

If you disable the plugin, it remains until gedit is restarted. This is not a problem in itself, but if you re-enable it before restarting, an additional CMYK pane is added. I've only tried this on gedit 2.30
