yaml-sort-checker's Issues

Exclude sections

Currently excludedKeys could be used to address one specific key, which will be ignored. But this applies only for this exact key and on this exact level - its subsections are not ignored. However there are cases (like parameters section) which you don't want to keep sorted as a whole. Now the only workaround is to exclude every single key you have in the parameters section, which is really uncomfortable and hard to maintain.

So it will be nice to have something like excludedSections directive, which will exclude the key including its sub-levels.

What do you think @mhujer?

I'm not sure if I'll find time to implement this, but at least this could be there as help-wanted issue.

Don't just check

It would be really nice if sorting were possible in addition to checking.

Support .yaml extension

Hi,
according to YAML official website, *.yaml extension should be preferred. Also Symfony 4 now uses it by default.

So I suggest adding detection for both extensions (or maybe drop the .yml entirely :)?) What do you think?
