Just a thought to improve:

Right now, you can choose the prefix of the mounted directory.
However it would be awesome, if you could choose the mountpoint of every encrypted volume separately and through the GUI.

Thanks for a great project! I'm on Ubuntu 16.04 and wants to be able to use your apt repository but when I trying to use it in Synaptic the output is:
"W: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/mhogomchungu/xUbuntu_16.04/Release.gpg: Signature by key 1684885B6FFA57BD2576354F007312F085D89AA2 uses weak digest algorithm (SHA1)"
This is because of the apt SHA1 removal. Can you please update the keys so it is possible to use your apt repository.

follwoing your build instructions cmake finishes without errors but actually compiling with make raises the following:

fatal error: blkid/blkid.h: No such file or directory

Installing the missing blkid devel package fixes the problem and cryfs-gui compiles.

Could you add the blkid devel package to the list of requirements?

I've installed your application by downloading the .deb package from your personal OpenSuse repository.

The official gocryptfs page advises to put their binary in ~/bin/, but cryfs-gui looks for it in /bin/. Your "could not be found" warning should tell users the proper location to place the gocryptfs binary.

I installed the current (version 1.3.1) Ubuntu 16.04 .deb package using apt-get.
Afterwards, I ran cryfs-gui and ran "Check Updates" from the menu.
It shows me, I'm running 1.0.0 and should update to 1.3.1.

I also tried downloading and installing the .deb package manually - same result.
