  1. Edit overlays section of /etc/layman/layman.cfg. Here's an example:

     overlays: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/overlays/repositories.xml
           http://github.com/mgiken/portage-overlay/raw/master/repository.xml

  2. Execute following command:

     layman -a mgiken
