attribute_translatedalias's Issues

Filter: "Simple lookup" does not resolve Attribute translatedalias correct

Setup:

  • MM nightly build 2014-11-26
  • Filter: "Simple lookup", Attribute: translatedalias
  • Problem: The filter does not return objects if the set language is not the main language, but the alias is the same as in the main language.
(Ergo the alias is not present in the database table tl_metamodel_translatedtext.)

Prüfen auf "Eindeutige Werte"

Wenn wir "Eindeutige Werte" bei Alias benutzten, prüft das Feld ob der Wert schon vorhanden ist. Allerdings ist in der Abfrage das Feld immer selber mit drin. Somit wird immer ein Werte gefunden und somit wird die ID angehängt.

Beim zweiten Speichern gibt es den Wert nicht mehr, somit wird der Alias wieder ohne ID gespeichert.

Valid alias characters upon generating alias

Hi guys.
Just a short question to the translated alias attribute.
Is the alias generation according to the settings from contao root page (ascii or unicode)?

I have a de/en page and for both i have set the alias to ascii & lowercase letters. But when the attribute generates the alias for german page, it still uses the unicode äöü.

I am running the latest Contao and MM versions.

Do i miss some settings?

Cheers!

Keine Generierung des Alias

In manchen Fällen (siehe aktuelle MM Demo) wird gar kein Alias generiert. Im Deutschen ja, im Englischen nicht. Also immer nur in einer Sprache. Und das auch nicht durchgängig sondern nur in manchen Datensätzen.

Ich habe noch nicht ermitteln können warum grade da.

Alias not saved in tl_metamodel_translatedtext

When the alias is not changed in the secondary languages, it will not be inserted into tl_metamodel_translatedtext.
When I edit another language and save it, the alias of this language is not inserted into tl_metamodel_translatedtext if it is still the same as in the first language.
When I change the alias of the second language, it is saved, when I change it back to be identical with the alias of the first language, it is saved as well.

This is not really a bug, more a mild inconsistency.

However, it complicates third party development, for example solutions for the combination of MM and [changelanguage]. Therefore, I suggest that aliases are always saved into tl_metamodel_translatedtext, even if identical.

Translated alias is not regenerated in translation

Hi everyone,

it seems to me that the translated alias generation is not handled correctly: In a multilanguage setup with German (Fallback) and English, the translated alias gets not regenerated under certain conditions.

To reproduce:

  1. Have a translated Meta Model with a translated title and an translated alias generated from this title.
  2. Add German translation with title = "Foo Bar" and save.
  3. The German alias will be "foo-bar"
  4. Switch to Englisch and translate title = "Foo baz" and save

The English alias will still be "foo-bar". I would expect it to be 'foo-baz' though.

One could of course set "Force generate", but I need to give the editors the option to manually edit the alias.

Environment

Contao 4.4.21
