Focus Flow

Focus Flow is a Pomodoro-based Chrome extension designed to help you manage your time more effectively and increase productivity. By breaking your work into intervals, typically 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks, Focus Flow helps you stay focused and maintain a steady workflow.

Note: This application is currently under development. Features and functionality may change as we continue to improve and update the extension.

Features

  • Pomodoro Timer: Set work intervals (Pomodoros) and break periods.
  • Customizable Settings: Adjust the length of your work and break periods according to your preference.
  • Notifications: Get desktop notifications to remind you when to start and stop working.
  • Task Management: Keep track of your tasks and manage your workflow efficiently.

Installation

To install Focus Flow, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/mesubasi/focus-flow.git
  2. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/.

  3. Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top right corner.

  4. Click on "Load unpacked" and select the focus-flow directory from the cloned repository.

Focus Flow should now be installed and visible in your Chrome extensions bar.

Usage

  1. Click on the Focus Flow icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the extension.

  2. Set the desired working time in the settings. (Pomodoro is recommended in periods of 25 minutes).

  3. Start the timer to begin your Pomodoro session.

  4. Focus on your task until the timer rings, then take a short break.

  5. Repeat the process to maintain a steady and productive workflow.
