capputweetie's Introduction

Tweetie written in Cappuccino...

I wouldn't actually reccomend using this code to begin learning Cappuccino, there are a TON of hacks. But, if you're interested in making a crazy custom UI in Cappuccino though, this might be good code to look at.

capputweetie's Issues

To do: subclass tableview

The main tableview needs to be subclassed. We need to add a loading indicator when it scrolls to the bottom (to load more tweets), and we need to override -highlightSelectionInClipRect: to draw a gradient for the single row selection.

Loading screen

Hello,

I'm trying to run CappuTweetie to learn Cappuccino. When running the latest github release and compiling with jake, looking at index.html or index-debug.html only brings up the loading screen, nothing more. Also running from a local server does not change that. Tested with Chrome and Safari, running the actual Cappuccino download from cappuccino.org. Any ideas?

Account Authentication

Hey,

Has anyone had any ideas on how to handle authentication with twitter? Is the idea to go with the approach of having a CappuTweetie back? I guess there is not much alternative as Twitter requires OAuth, and we can't store the secret keys etc in the CappuTweetie app.
