Transitive dependencies of a module are not updated before build. Only first level dependencies are updated.

A version bump causes the need to click refresh all projects in the Gradle tool bar. If you forget it, wrong code is executed, and no warning is issued.

Console on 5555 is automatically enabled, and cannot be used accessed via IntelliJ anymore

It would be good to automatically get the vmargs from the product run configuration in the product's build script. It would be easier to start the application right away in an empty project.

Just wanted to drop a note on the Eclipser plugin https://github.com/kukido/eclipser/wiki which provides Maven support too. Perhaps there's an opportunity to collaborate/learn from one another.

The message shown is about a missing directory - should be a message "Please execute prepareRunconfig"
