This mod adds a voice chat in minecraft.

How to build this mod

Setup Eclipse

  • ./gradlew genEclipseRuns eclipse
  • Import project as existing workspace

Setup IntelliJ IDEA

  • ./gradlew genIntellijRuns
  • Import as gradle project

Build

  • ./gradlew build

How to include this mod

  • Repository: repo.u-team.info
  • Artifact: info.u-team:voice_chat-${config.forge.mcversion}:${config.voicechat.version}
  • {config.forge.mcversion} is the minecraft version.
  • {config.voicechat.version} is the voicechat version.

Using in Forge Gradle 3:

Doesn't work

It shows that you talk, but noone hears you, and you hear noone

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Setup a server
  2. install the mod

[Feature Request] Toggle to talk?

Adds in a Toggle to Talk.

The way to use this mode is press a key once, talk, then press the key again to mute yourself. Push to talk, on the other hand, requires you to keep the key pressed down to keep talking.

I hope you consider my idea.

  2. Go in Voice chat configuration
  3. The game crash

Expected behavior
I wanted to configure my microphone and my speaker

Hello! I was wondering if this mod is on hiatus, or has been abandoned. Will there be a new version of this mod? Thank you.

[Feature request] proximity voice

pretty self-explanatory
people talking become quieter the farther away they are from each other
and have the option to turn it on or off in the config files and maybe be able to configure how far away someone has to be until you start hearing them or something, and also being able to change these settings in-game without having to directly edit the config file would be great as well

[1.16.4] Keeps disconnecting from modded server & crashes when trying to configure the settings

Describe the bug
I try to join a private modded SMP and I keep disconnecting after a minute of joining. The server has the mod, and a friend of mine has the mod too, yet no problems for them. I can't interact with anything upon joining.
Also, when I try to configure the mod, it just outright crashes.

To Reproduce
A. Disconnecting from server
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Join a modded server
  2. Wait.
  3. Get disconnected
    B. Crashes
    Steps to reproduce the behavior:
  4. Open config menu
  5. Crash

Expected behavior
A. I expected to play Minecraft normally and be able to interact with objects. What I got was that I keep getting disconnected and before getting kicked, I can't interact with anything.
B. I expected to configure the settings using the config GUI. What I got was a game crash.

clicking the voice causes my game to crash

Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
clicking the voice chat button crashes the game saying "The game crashed whilst mouseclicked event handler
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: mouseClicked event handler
Exit Code: -1"
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'esc'
  2. Do this 'click the voicechat button'

Expected behavior

it should let me configure the mod when i click the voice chat button.
