A yeoman generator that incorporates modern express, mongodb, and jest.

• Add Eslint
• Add babel for both client and server side
• Add template for supertest example tests
• Html webpack plugin
• Css webpack plugin
• Webpack Dev Server
• DotEnv

• Add mongo(optional) setup for 3rd environment for jest
• React(optional) setup - it is own beast

First, install Yeoman and generator-modern-express using npm (we assume you have pre-installed node.js).

npm install -g yo
npm install -g generator-modern-express

Then generate your new project:

yo modern-express

• Yeoman has a heart of gold.
• Yeoman is a person with feelings and opinions, but is very easy to work with.
• Yeoman can be too opinionated at times but is easily convinced not to be.
