We need to mailshot the google form to everyone who's signed up:

I can't work out why. http://mattwynne.github.com/bootstrapd doesn't give me anything. Any ideas?

Roll this out by:

• change launchrock welcome email to link to the form
• email (mailchimp) everyone who's already signed up on LR to link to the form, and let them know about the venue

It's about time to email everyone with some firmer details about the event:

• timings
• what it means to come to the open space, and how to prepare

Here's how I'm thinking this will work:

• We set up a discount code on eventbrite for 10 tickets at 50% off.
• We set up a google form to ask people:
  1. What's your email?
  2. Tell us about the product you're building. Who is it for? What does it do for them?
  3. In 50 words or less, Why do you think you deserve the scholarship?
• We email the edleanstartup and manchester bootstrappers club groups with links to the form
• We sit back and wait for some good replies, and email the code to the first 10 good answers.

We could do it via twitter I guess, but 140 chars might not be enough to establish their bootstrapping credentials. WDYT?

We need a page about the open space to:

1. give people an idea of what an open space is
2. talk about a theme and inspire people to come up with sessions
3. make it feel safe and not intimidating to people who might not have the confidence to propose a session

We can discuss session on the Google Group, but maybe we can put a few ideas up on this page to give people inspiration.

Can we pull the attendees list from Eventbrite and show it on the site?

• sales patter and link to eventbrite signup
• also somehow capture email for mailing list
• decent venue details
• info about the goals / spirit of the conference
• looks sexy
• fork me on github button so people can start adding their own content / proposals for sessions

We should come up with a rough schedule for the day and put it on the site to give people more of an idea of what's happening.

Will EF do this for us? Have asked Anna today.

People will want to know where / how much it is to stay. Can we put anything on the site? Is there a pre-agreed rate?

...make the benefits a bit more obvious: diverse range of attendees from around the country/world. Nice location (bit hidden of the front page); lunch and snacks. Structure to the day.
