vewe's Issues

Develop a standard for cross vEwe communication

In a conversation with @stevehansell, he mentioned a larger need in most JS views for elegant cross view communication.

In the past I've done this either through a view or some other convention tied to the top of the DOM tree. Other views then listen to or trigger events on this DOM element as needed. Even if this technique is being used I see a need for an object that standardizes how the views communicate through this mechanism.

It seems very dangerous for views to be reaching outside their DOM scope to trigger and listen to events arbitrarily.

Any thoughts on how this object would function? What could an implementation of sending a "message" look like? Receiving a "message"?

Potential name for the object: shepHeard

Document Custom Events

While vEwe uses mostly standard javascript events, both the vEwe and the ShepHeard introduce custom events. Currently these are not mentioned in the documentation and are only briefly touched on in some of the examples. A full list of these events and what they do should exist in the documentation.
