thanks for the code! I tried to adapt it to continuous case (e.g., Gaussian) and realized that I don't fully understand what you do here. In particular, here

dens[i] <- dnorm(prior_cdf(x[i]), mean=x_internal, sd=noise_sd) * jacobian

you compute the quantile function of x, so x should be a probability (bounded 0 to 1), but then here
x <- seq(0,6, length.out=1e4)

your x goes up to 6, so it can't be a probability.

Is x supposed to be in sensory space [0,1] or in stimulus space?
