svelte's Issues

typo on website

Hello,
in section "What is svelte?" you wrote:

<p>It uses mo**r**dern JavaScript (querySelectorAll, classList, matchesSelector) to help make it as lightweight as possible and therefore only works on the latest version of mordern browsers E.g. Chrome, Firefox, Opera, IE10+.</p>

instead of:

It uses modern JavaScript (querySelectorAll, classList, matchesSelector) to help make it as lightweight as possible and therefore only works on the latest version of mordern browsers E.g. Chrome, Firefox, Opera, IE10+.

it's not a bug. I even see you have a pull request on it, sorry for the annoyance.

Notice about a namesake

Dear @mattbegent,
It's a huge work you made, but the last commit is 4 years ago, maybe this project became legacy as javascript evolves quickly.
Today the Svelte project become more and more popular, maybe this could be fair to put a link on top of your Readme to this project when developers try to reach this namesake project.
Regards

Difference between this, modern jQuery, and `d3-selection`

I'm really curious what this library provides that d3-selection or jQuery don't cover.

It seems that this is just a small wrapper library around the standard DOM functions, with a couple helpers here and there to manage building nodes from CSS queries.
