A simple tool to create and read pickle files.

What can PickleViewer do?

With PickleViewer you can easily view and edit large Pickle Files.

What's new?

Bug fixes (crash when opening invalid files with no text)

Bugs:

Of curse there are a few bugs in the latest version

You can not open Pickle files which have objects from 3rd party modules

How to install?

The installation is very simple, you just have to run the stup and follow the instructions.

How to use?

If you need help, look at the Menu. Click on Help > Help. There you have your beautiful help! :D

If you want to use the program in debug/wait mode you need to start the program via command line, add the parameter --wait and there you go.

You can also force a update with the command line parameter --update

Older Versions

For older versions, go into the folder versions, there you find every released version.

Can not open files wich not in same folder as .EXE

This is an error wich will be fixed in the next version of PickleViewer (v0.3)

Linux version / Available source

Your software is great but, unfortunately, it works only on Windows. Don't you plan to make also a version for Linux? Could you publish the source code? It'll be great - it would be used on any OS (just installing python and necessary packages would be needed).

Error while reding data

Describe the bug
In the pickle file I have a dictionary with a key - date and value - a tuple. I am changing the value. When I try to save it I get an error. "Error while reading data: malformed node or string"

Scroll down to '....'
See error
