mathspring's Issues

Buttons not working

Sometimes replay hint, hint, and read problem buttons don't work. This is fixed if another button is pressed first, and then you try again.

example: 414:problem_145 Sometimes will not read the question until something else has been pressed (like hint)

Additionally, in another iteration of this example, the replay hint button didn't work until I reread the problem

"Read problem" non functional

"Read problem" button doesn't seem to work, after it's initially been read once (without pressing the button).

Edit: Looks like you're already aware of this particular issue.

Audio Overlap

In pretty much everything, if you press the buttons too fast, a new audio starts without stopping the old one, causing audio overlap.

No video message

I think I had hit a new topic, and when I did I got a message about there being no video to show.

Problem number: 999:undefined

Question.ogg gets downloaded

Hi folks, Every time a problem loads, both Safari and Chrome want to download a question.ogg. Also, when I play a hint, the same thing happens.

"Tools" to draw/write on screen?

a-1-29
Some set of problems says I can use "tools" to draw/write on screen and that I wouldn't be penalized.
Can't quite seem to find where to write/draw on the actual problems though!

Problems Playing as examples

I can see that the only way to display an example is through the Example window... POpping up a window is OK for the example button, but not for playing problems in example mode... It gets confusing about what the student should do when they play the example, or when the example gets finished.

A couple of things about the examples, even when they play in the window that pops-up. The header says "Here is an example". It should say "Watch and listen to this example." Also, "Next Hint" button should be "Play next step".

Very important that answers should NOT be clickable, otherwise what is the difference between an example and a regular problem? Even covering the answers completely might be an option.

The example window is too high and doesn't fit on a regular screen. There is wasted white space at the top and at the bottom before the button.

Video pop-ups

The videos are working much better now that there are only external videos.

Still, the window is not popping up in a smaller window for me, it is as if it opens a full new window that covers everything. Can we size the pop-up window to something similar to the size of a movie in youtube?
