Hi,

I'm trying sway for the very first time. To be honest, I'm a little bit confuse on how to start it.

First, I'm having conflicts if I try as root, it says that I can use root user. But, when I'm trying with the normal user, I'm getting permission errors:

Also, could you explain to me if sway automatically starts Wayland or if I should have Wayland already up when starting it?

Building squeekboard fails due to missing checksums in the recipes for the downloaded crates.

Hi @MarkusVolk, I want use libvarlink recipe from this repo but currently I'm not using meta-wayland.
Is there any plan to upstream only libvarlink recipe to poky/meta-openembedded ?

Hi,

With default configuration there is missing background asset. Sway complains about missing /usr/share/backgrounds/sway/Sway_Wallpaper_Blue_1920x1080.png file.

Hi!

I have a bunch of compilations error when trying to add Cage to my image. wlroots compiles fine. Poky is at master/main.

The first error is shown below
