Currently there is no authentication built into this idimpotent resource/method. This is not an issue for testing locally but needs to be resolved before deployment.

When retrieving covers from the web service sometimes there is nothing returned and we end up with a small 1px square image. How do we detect this and where can we find an alternative image. Perhaps use a placeholder...

At the moment the code uses the mysql library and is linked to an online mysql database that is not visible to contributors. There is already an sqlite database bundled in the repository and the code needs to utilise this.
