How about to mask the file path so that only the file name shows (not the path or the extension)?
I liked those features in RPS3, but couldn't see the same options in the new settings.

I would like the option to disable specific screens so that only one screen displays a screensaver, and the other screens are either black or turned off. Would this be possible?

The "locate ufraw" button throws a script error. Manually editing the RAW converter field doesn't get saved and I can't check the box to enable RAW conversion.

I tried setting the values of the conversion bit and the converter location by editing the sqlite directly, but it seems RPS reverts those fields to their original values upon load.

Onscreen buttons support for touchscreens:

System: Windows 8, three monitors, high performance i7 CPU.

Video playback is very choppy (probably less than ~10 fps), regardless of format or resolution.

All mp4 and mov videos just show a blank blue screen. Avi and pictures are working fine. I am using rps 4.5.7 on Windows 8.1 x64.

When I try to save the settings for the slideshow, they keep reverting back each time I reselect the RPS. Specifically, under slideshow/effects I deselect the "Zoom and Pan/Ken Burns Effect (IE10)" and save the settings, but if I change the screensaver to another screen saver then reselect the RPS the "Zoom and Pan/Ken Burns Effect (IE10)" is reselected as well.

Cut off point for portrait fit to cover pictures (as in Google Chromecast)

It will be good if it may be possible to disable "W Set current image as wallpaper"

Or at least to add a confirm this action dialog

Just to have a separate timer setting for images and the videos so I can have the image at 2 to 5 secs interval but the videos at 10 to 30 secs, or what ever, but separate time for each because I would like to watch the videos longer than the images.

I'd love to see an option to specify one folder be used for one monitor, while another folder is used for other monitors. In my case I have 3 LCD monitors in front of me, and an LCD TV behind me. I'd like to use one folder for the monitors and a different folder for the TV when running RPS4. Thanks in advance...

Detect changes in filters and make it clear the filter has to be reapplied.
Or instant update of filter on change (if filters currently in use) combined with instant preview (~10 pics from filter).

Disallow all interaction except navigating through folders (child mode), exit / enter setup after enter passcode.

After updating the screensaver doesn't start automatically.

Selecting a different screensaver, clicking apply and then selecting RPS provides a temporary fix.

Allow GUI to be customised
For: metadata, folder, filename, clock, messages
Change: fonts, size, position, colour, etc.

In RPS4, is it still possible to change the clock from 24 hour to 12 hour?
I liked those features in RPS3, but couldn't see the same options in the new settings.

"I'm one of the ones that has to press the Save button settings. But I find it really annoying when you ashore the MsgBox afterwards. A short banner at the top saying "settings saved" that then disappeared would be great!"

If exclude subfolders is checked and a folder with subfolders is expanded all of the subfolders are marked in green rather than grey.

First, bravo for the good work !

I am currently testing your great screensaver on a 7000+ photos directory (family pictures...).
I am a bit annoyed by the fact that newer picture never appear : only old pictures are shown :-(
Since 2006, I have around 8 sub-directories per year full of pictures. Since I tested the screensaver, I only had 2006 or 2007 pictures. Nothing older.
Of course, I used the option Random in the Slideshow section...

Is there a way to give a little a bit of weight on this criteria on the random feature ?

PS: Current advanced settings are:

• Remember 10000
• Maximum random history size : 1000000
  But I tried 100 / 10000

Play whole video, play xx seconds of video, random start position

Please take note that Zoom and Pan / Ken Burns effect no more working after you had added:
this.screensaver.config.hasPersistantKey("effect")
to monitor.cs.

In the settings, I choose random order, then for some unknown reason, a while later, the slideshow goes back to sequential. Windows 10 machine, can't figure out why the slideshow keeps jumping to sequential.

I just discovered your screensaver software and am testing it. So far I like it, but I find a feature missing - upon exiting the screensaver display, it would be great to lock the computer (ie, C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation). I hope this will be an included option in some future version.

Add a clock Mute timer button so my computer will be quiet playing videos in the middle of the night.

Should be simple enough to do, just a timer below the mute button so I decide when the videos are silent.

Show image on screen 1, next time out move it to screen 2, etc.

I think it's a bug. I've added it to my todo list, but it could be a while before I find the time to fix it. I looked at it briefly, but I can't figure out why its behaving the way it does.

I choose your screen saver because it had the zoom function. I see however that some picutres are zoomed in a lot and I never see the whole picture.

So it would be nice to be able to configure the zoom function with eg:

• max zoom level
• min zoom level
• zoom out to full picture (on or off)
• Zoom in from full picture (on or off)

when video start play it plays couple seconds, because I set 5 - 10 seconds for slide show. The video doesn't play from beginning to the end even I set to play whole video.

When Windows starts the screensaver on the timeout you can't set a wallpaper.

First I want to say thank you for such an awesome program. I've been looking for a program to display family photos easily with filtering and or folder selection. Great work! I have a tremendous amount of family photos and I want to filter out any path or files names with 1,2 or more words. I've tried a number of way with apply filters, save the filter, save button and I can't seem to filter out photos names or paths. for example the paths and or filenames will contain 2 words to filter "mummy player" as a string in that order. Do I need to add quotes for exclude-paths-containing-"mummy player". I've tried that and it doesn't work either. I'm assuming I need to 'add filter dimension' for each filter correct? I have about 10 filters added. The save filter sql look fine but I test and the unwanted photos pop up with paths or filenames with mummy player in them.

Stop showing an image in screensaver without deleting it

Local examples: P1020217.JPG & P1020611.JPG

I have some file names containing German, Polish and Czech characters. Random-Photo-Screensaver can't present them and gives error messages.
It does diplay OK files with Hebrew names.

I've installed on 10 computers and have some that will not automatically start.

All computers are windows 7 64-bit.
