I just installed this app because I was looking for an app that indicates on which desktop I currently am.

Looks like FreeVD is the right tool for that. 😄

But I think the icon in the taskbar could look better.

It is a little blurry and I would like an inverted version that goes better with the dark theme I enabled in Windows.

I found there are already inverted icons in the source code.

But how can I enable them?
Or should they automatically be used when the Win10 dark mode is enabled?

I have tired from paying to freelancers for updating freevd and I decided to develop my own application.
I'm newbie and this application is not ideal.

It'd be handy to be able to have a shortcut to create a new desktop and move the active window to it (along with a 'follow' version). Currently creating a new desktop (through Windows' built in shortcut) also automatically switches to it, so to move a window to a new desktop you first have to create a new desktop, switch back to the old desktop, then move the window to the new desktop. Having a shortcut to just move the current window to a new desktop would make workflows with a more dynamic number of desktops more viable.

I configure it for Ctrl-Win-1 the numbers on my keyboard and it just dims it out so I cannot use it.

Does FreeVD work for anyone in Windows 11?

I'm able to install it, but trying to load it nothing happens, and Event Viewer shows it crashes.

When I wake up my computer FreeVD uses 100% CPU.
I need to kill it via Task Manager and start the program again.

I am not sure if this happens everytime.
I will keep an eye on this.

Is there anyway to give you more information to debug this?

Is it possible to make the function of copying a window to a specific desktop?
I saw a similar feature in Dexpot, which now does not work well.
