Hi! My name is Marco Antônio Peixoto, a Ph.D. in genetics and breeding.

👨‍💻 I'm a data-driven enthusiastic of data science and quantitative genetics.

💡 I'm passionate about sharing knowledge and learning. Always open to new challenges and ready to face changes.

Currently, I'm investigating the topics:

  1. Design and deployment of sweet corn breeding program pipeline through simulation tools;
  2. Validation and optimization methodologies in genomic prediction pipelines/hybrid prediction;
  3. Optimization and mate-pair allocation considering inbreeding/coancestry, gain, and usefulness;
  4. R development tools to create and explore genetic optimization algorithms.
