AutoResponder for Android sends text messages to your callers, if you can't answer the phone. You can customize the message content. You can even set different messages for different occasions! (at work, with friends, etc.)
There is a bug when you enter a custom message with special signs like ç . My name is Erdinç and İ have to write Erdinc in the message otherwise the app forcecloses.
Sometimes I'm at work and reply to messages so its annoying how the person keeps getting a message every time they text me. One message per contact per hour would be great
okay, after fooling around with the settings, I got it to work after uninstalling and installing it, it worked just fine, until I edited the generated message for my own personal use.....so it appears that that once you edit and the pretyped message you already have it wont work
I do have one problem with AutoResponder, however. I keep AutoResponder running 24/7 and always keep it on the same settings (respond to phone calls, don't respond to texts, send my customized "at work" text). But when I check the app, from time to time, the box to respond to phone calls is unchecked and it's set to the main text response instead of at work. This is a major pain because I am unable to check the app all day long to insure that it is indeed on and that the proper text response is being sent
I installed it yesterday on my HTC Desire 2.2
When it is set up to respond to missed calls it sends the auto response twice, yet when set up for text it does it once,as it should.
