Just a week or so ago it was working fine, but now clicking on Completed/Chinese/etc does nothing.

cover.jpg should be in the outer most folder where it would be a sibling to OEBPS,

Unlike its current position which is inside OEBPS

Recording the wrong chapter when a chapter has numeral after it. This is happening with the supreme magus at the very least.

If you download the following you should see that 73 Day Two and 74 Day Two 2 are resulting the same chapter. This is incorrect.

While loading certain titles, the app will hang on the dimmed out screen with loading circle. It's possible to choose a different title if you scroll down. I wasn't going to make a bug report, but it's happening on my PC and on my Android device, both using google chrome.

when i try to load the download page of a novel without the ":" it thinks then loads just fine. however when the title of the novel has the ":" symbol in it all the page does is think indefinitely.

not sure how to fix it but just thought you should know

I tried downloading "City of Sin". It downloaded chapter 27 from Book 3 instead of Book 2. I selected all chapters.

Just download all chapters and you will see chapter 27 for book 2 has been replaced with chapter 27 from Book 3. Book 3 has its own chapter 27 correctly.

I tried it on desktop with Mozilla Firefox and on Android via chrome. Same result.

Thanks for this awesome resource, my only complaint is how it creates a default coverpage image of the first page of the novel. Right now it looks sortof messy on Ebooks, when the device is sleeping its always just showing the first page of text.

A much better solution would be to create a coverpage/image that is just the title of the novel and maybe the chapters that are included.

Would look much more professional, and clean

It seem that a part of the chapter 609 of Lord of the Mysteries is missing from the epub generated by the web app. It can easily be check by comparing the version on webnovel.com and the generated one.

Pretty much like the title said, when I downloaded the file it was an epub file, however it was named xxx.epub.zip. This caused some weird problems with my kobo, easily fixed now that I know about it but hey.. 😊

Ps. I don't remember exactly which novels had the error except for one : "i have a mansion in the post-apocalyptic world"

Clicking "download" downloads a 2KB ePub , the loading bar says "Almost finished, ePub is being packed", but nothing happens for 6 hours+ so I assume it's not working.

Trying to open the downloaded (2KB ePub for 300+ chapters) says "file is corrupt"

Pop ups redirecting to malicious websites.
Please look into this.

Note : These pop ups shows up at random when click on web page and doesn't require request for downloading novel.

I have found two bugs.
The easiest to reproduce is that every chapter name that ends in a "t" has the "t" removed.

The second is that chapter 235 of The Legendary Mechanic has lost all formatting, and partial HTML formatting marks litter the chapter (probably related, but I don't know the root cause). I'm not sure if this one is on your end, since several other chapters in that story are also weird -- one had the Chinese characters still present, and a few others were apparently down for editing at the time that the story was archived.

I'm using the most recent Chromium (NOT Chrome; the open-source one) on Ubuntu 18.04.

If I can also add a feature request, I'd love to see the following stories added:

All books are displayed when page is loaded initially. When you type something into the search bar and delete it, no books appear.

So I tried to download Chapter 1 - 100 of Trash of Count Family

Yet the resulting epub title is Chapter 0-99

as a programmer I understand that index start at 0 so this can quite make sense. but for regular user this could be misleading

mGA after chapter 1000 doesn't download...looped process

If i pressed (mispressed) the download button twice or more when still in compiling process. It will still run the process but the loading will go back few percent and there you go. Loop

I downloaded Unrivaled Tang Sect, it was good up until Chapter 18.1-19.4 where the content is replaced with:
"In preparation, Keguan Please wait a moment, after the updates, you need to refresh the page to get the latest updates!"

Searching through the epub I see a few other chapters have the same issue (72, 79, 324)

When i try to download random novells, it gives me a download, but when i open the epub it's empty, when i open it in notepad ++ i see some corrupted characters and no actual novel text.

Frequently Posted Issues

I DO NOT HOST THE CHAPTER CONTENT
This means I can't fix formatting errors, missing chapters, wrong chapters etc. I work to add new data sources in the future but at the moment I can't do anything about it.

1. The download is stuck at the last step

Try a different browser, especially on mobile quite a few of them don't support the library used to create the epub files. Firefox seems to work at the moment.

2. Chapter X on novel Y is incomplete/missing/broken/not updated/wrong order

I do not store any content, so I'm unable to fix these kind of errors.
Exception: Chapter's with the same title appear more then once in a novel. This error seems to be on my end and some novels are affected. Feel free to open up an issue with the name of the novels and I will fix the error.

Describe the bug
As said in the title the bug happened in the novel "I was a sword when I reincarnated" the chapter 13 is missing.
I downloaded from chapter 0 to 328.
I tried reading it with to epub reader IceCream on Windows who displayed the following error.
"Error on line 1 at column 78: Expected '#' or '[a-zA-Z]', but got ' '."
Then I tried with eReader Prestigio on Android. But the chapter doesn't appear.

I hope I have been precise enough.

While downloading the book,the download will stuck in final packing and won't progress no matter how much time passes.

Your API endpoint has an SSRF security vulnerability. It can make and GET arbitrary requests to any web address. I didn't extensively test it or try to escalate it.

2. Change the 'google.com' to any other site and it will fetch it.

Expected behavior
I noticed you mostly us wuxiaworld.co, it should only fetch from whitelisted sites should it need to use multiple sources.

How to solve it.
Add a white list of allowed domains to make get requests to, before it makes any requests.

Describe the bug
For the novel Overgeared, the chapters list starts with 1001 rather than 1. However, after downloading the chapters when selecting chapter 1 - end, it'll generate a epub with chapters starting from 1 - end but skip 1000-1100.

Downloading chapters 1001 - end chapter creates a epub with 1001 as the starting chapter instead of chapter 1.

Whenever I download a chapter, once it reaches 100 percent it says "almost finished.epub is getting packed" and then it proceeds to stay like that and never actually download. Here is a picture of what it stays at after reaching 100 percent.

Also would be cool to be able to download any ebook by putting the wuxiaworld URL

Trying to download all of nine star hegemon body art.

Chapter 8 is just empty and chapter 11 has only the first half, not sure how far this has happened elsewhere, but it's what I noticed.

Edit: also on chapter 12, I may have missed it in the earlier chapters as I think there is some stuff missing

From web app

The last few chapters (Book 5, ...) of Divine Throne of Primordial Blood don't look like an ebook: there's no paragraph formatting etc.

Instead it's just raw HTML.

When geting chapter 254-331 from Dragon Prince Yuan the chapter name loses a 't' at the end of the chapter name. For example in "Chapter 322 Bait" it becomes "Chapter 322 Bai" or in "Chapter 323 Get" it becomes "Chapter 323 Ge"

The chapters after 479 don't exist on the site despite being available else where. I would suggest changing the source for the site from wuxiaworld.co to some other site which is regularly maintained.

The download files are all epub.zip so there is no content I can read as it is in zip. Tried to extract it . But there is no epub data on the extract files

Database dosn't update Martial God Asura - no new chapters on the list. I don't know if other titles are working ok or only this one is down
