Retro Astroids

Install instructions:

Windows:

• Install: Install/pygame-1.9.1.win32-py2.6.msi and Install/python-2.6.4.msi
• Launch Game: Double click Asteroids.py

OSX:

• Install Homebrew: ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"
• Homebrew install git and use it over apples: brew install git && mv /usr/bin/git /usr/bin/git-git
• Clone this repo: git clone https://github.com/majormoses/asteroids.git
• Homerbrew some requirements: brew install sdl sdl_image sdl_mixer sdl_ttf portmidi
• Grab pygame: pip install https://bitbucket.org/pygame/pygame/get/default.tar.gz
• Launch Game: ./asteroids/Asteroids.py

Ubuntu/Debian:

• Install pygame: apt-get install python-pygame
• Clone this repo: git clone https://github.com/majormoses/asteroids.git
• Launch Game: ./asteroids/Asteroids.py
