Este es un trabajo grupal realizado en conjunto con mis compañeros V. Vernengo y G. Ralon a mediados de 2021 como trabajo final de la Carrera de Especialista en Estadistica para Ciencias de la Salud en la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (website)

Si bien el script utilizado en R es el original, se aleatorizaron los datos del dataset para garantizar y preservar la identidad de los pacientes y del equipo original de trabajo. Los resultados no tienen la misma perfomance que con el dataset original.

El objetivo del trabajo era trabajar con modelos de machine learning para identificar posibles predictores de sangrado para pacientes con tromboembolismo de pulmon en una base de datos con un N limitado.

This is a team work carried out together with my colleagues V. Vernengo and G. Ralon in mid-2021 as a final project for the Specialist in Statistics for Health Sciences career at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires (website).

Although the script used in R is the original, the data in the dataset was randomized to guarantee and preserve the identity of the patients and the original work team. The results do not have the same performance as with the original dataset.

The objective of the work was to clean the dataset and train machine learning models to identify possible bleeding predictors for patients with pulmonary thromboembolism in a database with a limited N.
