Roadmap

Fantasy GitHub is a brand new idea. As such, we have a very basic plan moving forward:

  • Come up with a rule set that will allow basic fantasy GitHub game play
  • Hack a proof of concept together over a weekend
  • Start a test league
  • ITERATE!

Positions

Do we want to have positions? What are the positions?

The best idea I have is that positions are programming languages. If you draft a player for JavaScript, than only commits that include JavaScript changes are included in their commit stats.

Head to Head vs Points

Is this done baseball style where you track statistical categories?
is this football style where each player accrues points?

What statistical categories do we initially want to track?
Can commissioners elect categories for their league in V1?
