I would like to bring to attention that the plugin has been marked as incompatible with InteliJ IDEA 2019.3.3 according to the update pop-up of InteliJ when trying to update.

Deprecated interface ApplicationComponent is used.

for latest plugins you defined a range of valid IDEA installation "2017.2-2019.1.4" - that means with 2019.2 it is not compatible. Older versions you defined "2019.1+" - this is compatible with 2019.2. I don't think this is wanted - but I didn't have a look at the code.

At the moment at intelliJ the version 0.0.2 is available and installed, but not the latest version 0.1.1. Normally the latest version is more compatible with later IDEA versions.

Maybe you can have a look at this. Because jenv is a really nice tool and it would be great to have support at IntelliJ! :-)

I'd like to report that the release 0.1.2 is not compatible with IntelliJ 2019.3.

Apparently, version 1.2 > 1.2a. The "a" is probably interpreted as a pre-release indicator. Even after installing 1.2a manually, IntelliJ will automatically "update" to 1.2. Maybe release it as 1.3 or 1.2.1?

The plugin always creates a .java-version file, even if the intention is to use the system Java version (although, why use this plugin then?) or, more likely, it's not a Java project. As a work-around I now remove the file every time.

Is it possible to revert this behavior?
