Hello,I can not seem to play anything on chromium while browsing hulu but I can play the same videos on chrome.Could someone please look into it?I get an error whenever I try to play a video,the error is "RUNUNK13", @macchrome

What exactly does no-sync mean if the sync component is still there?

Yet the sync component is very much active.

Tested upgrade from v83.0.4103.116 to v84.0.4147.89 with flag --disable-encryption and --disable-machine-id.
Anyone has the same issue there?

I ask you this because I'm starting to work on it for portapps (portapps/portapps#67) and I would need consistent tag and file names to automate the delivery process.

You probably know chrlauncher. It is a small and very fast portable launcher and updater for Chromium, on Windows, developped by Henry++.

Your Windows builds can not be launched by chrlauncher because the archive content is not standard :/
You packed the ZIP in another 7z format.

Can you simply your archive content to be compatible with chrlauncher?

For help, check the "Archive" builds at https://chromium.woolyss.com/#windows-64-bit Except yours, they are all compatible with chrlauncher.

I want the bookmarks bar to show only on new tab page, Chrome is like this by default.

I tried to run this build in sandboxie and it crashed.

Sandboxie version: 5.31.4
Chromium version: Chromium v77.0.3865.120-r681094 -> mini_installer.exe

I used to have jump list options when I right click the Chromium icon in my taskbar for opening a private window and some of my most visited sites however now it doesn't have any jump list items

How to update the browser? The releases are arbitrary, and there is no installer in the 7z file, it just straightaway unpacks, it's a portable version.
I have used the "mini installer" to install the 88.0.4324.190 version, it was automatically installed in C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application.

So now that version 89.0.4389.82-1 has been released, how to update to it? Because it's 7z does not have any installer to update it.
I would appreciate if you could assist in this as sooner as possible.

Firstly I'd just like to give thanks for your work, I use this browser as my default.

Secondly, the issue, I used to be able to play content from my Jellyfin server without issue using this browser, upon asking in the subreddit I was directed to https://cconcolato.github.io/media-mime-support/ to try the following codecs.

• hvc1.1.L120
• hev1.1.L120
• hvc1.1.0.L120
• hev1.1.0.L120

The second two pass whilst the first two return no and false.

This means that I am unable to direct stream H265 content via the browser, is there any way to get the other codecs implemented or have I missed something?

I have just noticed that there is no x86-32 version available for the newest release. Is this due to some issues with compiling it, or do you plan to release only x86-64 versions from now on?

Just for the record, I personally need a x86-32 version for my Intel Atom machine, so I will have to switch to different binary or try to compile the thing myself if there is no alternative.

According to these comments 1, 2, this build of Ungoogled-Chromium has the setting "Keep local data only until you quit your browser" enabled by default.
I did a clean install of v71.0.3578.98-r599034-Win64 in a VM, and sure enough, it is enabled: https://i.imgur.com/Q7VQSMn.png

This setting is destructive towards user data, and should not be enabled without user's consent.

"Googled" Chromium supports drag-and-drop of bookmarks into the chrome://apps page, and installs that site as a PWA - is this possible in ungoogled Chromium? I've tried, but without success, and am wondering if I'm missing something.

Hi, I was wondering if you could point me to how to compile with widevine and codecs (standard or codecs+ doesn't matter)

I mainly compile on Linux but I imagine the args to do this aren't platform specific. I Like your work and use your builds as well as robrich for my machine with avx. Also, I've set up google API keys that I use when compiling chromium os, and I only added ones needed for basic functionality, i.e. siginin, drive, speech,. Wouldn't I be able to use the same keys when compiling chromium or do I need to make another project and seperate set of keys.

Also, what optimizations do you use if any.

Does ungoogled-chromium also remove the FLoC user tracking code, or is it not part of Chromium (AKA only in the proprietary Chrome)?
The patches have been last updated for 86, but FLoC was added in 89.....

I'm looking for windows binaries of Chromium tools for prepearing filters for Subresource Filter components (they are in components/subresource_filter/tools ). Particulary for ruleset_converter.exe.
It's required for bulding custom adblock filters for Bromite browser ( https://www.bromite.org/custom-filters ).
Could you build and release this tool too? At least once, I don't think it changes very often.

I tried the last 3 releases (86 and 85) on the release page and all have the same problem:
When trying to play spotify it skips like 3-4 songs very fast, then plays the next song for 9 seconds and then stops.
On Amazon Prime Video I get a playback error after a couple of seconds.

I tried to replace the included WidevineCdm with an older version, but same result.
Also cleared all user data but that does not help.

I found that there is an installer version in ungoogled-chromium-binaries so I kind of thinking that an installer version can be also released in this repository.

When you try to enable # enable-force-dark mode, regardless of the option you choose, when you restart your browser, the tabs will stop working when you try to load your content, although the feature might even work partially if it wasn't for this problem.

I have not tested whether this problem also occurs in the normal version.
