I don't use Slack myself, but it should be fairly easy to implement.

From time to time, shit happens. Internet connection is lost, there's an unforeseen exception, etc. Add a respawn thread for dead threads of something goes wrong. This mostly applies to SEChat

Reply on ping either with a default message or essentially like it's chatting with whoever pings

It's split to make it work. But this breaks stuff like the help command as it doesn't add ``` afterward

Discord doesn't natively support markdown like links ([visible text](link)) Without embeds. Detect links and convert the message to an embed

There is some initial stuff set up but it doesn't work properly

Any exceptions in SEChat will crash the entire site. Catch the exceptions outside the while-loop
